EPA RECOGNITION OF AEROFLOAT GREYWATER PRODUCT
The South Australian Environment Protection Authority (EPA) has been testing the Aerofloat greywater treatment plant fitted to one of the Unforgettable houseboats between early November 2009 and late February 2010. The EPA has confirmed that providing the plant is operated in according with the Operation and Maintenance requirements, then the plant meets the onboard greywater treatment system discharge standards for vessels travelling in South Australia’s inland waters.
These results back up the extensive testing undertaken on the Aerofloat product between June and November 2009.
Aerofloat’s Managing Director Ray Anderson has stated that the EPA’s recognition of the Aerofloat product is an important milestone in the short history of the company. Anderson went on to say “We would like to advise houseboat owners that Aerofloat staff have over 40 years of experience in producing waste water treatment plants. This broad experience has been used to produce a robust, low maintenance, high treatment capacity and cost effective greywater treatment system.”
