Under-boat Components

We would be pleased to have one of our engineers to inspect your boat and prepare a proposal for the supply of the Aerofloat unit. We require 6 weeks’ notice
Inspection tee
The Inspection tee is located on the end of the greywater holding tank, 300mm PVC pipe. A screening bag is provided at the inlet and this collects the larger solids from the greywater – pasta, chicken bones, hair etc. This must be checked periodically, then cleaned out or thrown out and replaced.
Level Switch Compartment
The Level switch compartment controls the entire system. With on/off & high level alarms; the level switch compartment is wired to the PLC control system which is located within the Aerofloat unit.
Greywater Pump Box
The Greywater pump box is located beneath the deck of the houseboat; it pumps the untreated greywater to the Aerofloat system.
Chemical dosing pump
A small amount of chemical is added to flocculate the greywater. This is done using a Peristaltic Pump. Flocculation occurs as the chemically treated greywater flows in a coil of polyethylene pipe between the greywater feed pump and the DAF chamber.
