Meyer Food – meat processor wastewater
Meat manufacturer Meyer Food Co. utilised Aerofloat’s AeroDAF to ensure compliancy for its meat processing facility.
Cordina Farms had limited space for its wastewater treatment plant, requiring something compact yet effective to manage its high solids load from its new chicken processing plant.
Aerofloat installed a dissolved air flotation (AeroDAF 100) unit and supporting equipment to manage the high solids waste and fluctuations in flow.
Aerofloat was able to construct a treatment plant in the restricted space and limited time frame required.
When Cordina Farms was building a green field site back in 2014, it turned to Aerofloat for its compact and affordable wastewater treatment solution.
A green field site was built in Wyong NSW in late 2014: Aerofloat were consulted to review, engineer and supply a solution for the production wastewater.
The project consisted of the process design, including site design and council negotiation, project management for various building trades, product supply, installation and commissioning of its patented dissolved air flotation (AeroDAF 100) unit and supporting equipment (including hydraulic balancing and pH correction systems).
Since Aerofloat still has a strong relationship with Cordina Farms, providing servicing and chemical supply for the plant.

Circular Plastics Australia’s new plant in Altona North, Victoria, will recycle high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene (PP) plastics from the Melbourne community. It required a wastewater treatment solution that would meet Melbourne city’s strict trade waste requirements.
Circular Plastics Australia’s new plant in Laverton, Victoria, required a wastewater treatment solution that would meet Melbourne city’s strict trade waste requirements. Aerofloat has worked with Circular Plastics Australia on multiple projects to ensure compliant wastewater.
