Dunmore Leachate Treatment Plant
Aerofloat’s design allowed for increases in flow rates and ammonia concentration during peak flows. The plant
The ASR followed by clarifier, is also suitable where nitrogen removal is required and may require a separate anoxic reactor for the denitrification process.
The AeroASR uses Aerofloat’s patent-pending aeration lance design to produce a maintenance friendly system.
Aerofloat has extensive experience in biological treatment of wastewater and can build either the proprietary AeroASR design or conventional ASRs if larger, more traditional systems are required.

The AeroASR is a unique take on traditional activated sludge reactor technology. Using proven principles, the AeroASR uses Aerofloat’s patent-pending aeration lance design to provide a cost-effective, maintenance friendly alternative for biological treatment.
The effective flowrate that the AeroASR can treat, largely depends on the residence needed in the reactor – determined by the influent and effluent parameters. The AeroASR is typically housed in a conventional industrial polyethylene tank.
Aerofloat designs and builds its own proprietary equipment and can produce custom solutions for each client. Aerofloat has full design and manufacturing capabilities in-house and is therefore able to also build varying sizes of the AeroASR or a more traditional ASR if required.
