Meyer Food – meat processor wastewater
Meat manufacturer Meyer Food Co. utilised Aerofloat’s AeroDAF to ensure compliancy for its meat processing facility.
When Marsden Brewhouse (of the Laundy Group) was starting up in Sydney’s Western Suburbs, it needed a fit-for-purpose pH correction system to meet Sydney Water’s requirements.
Aerofloat installed a simple pH correction system that was maintenance free and odourless. Aerofloat continued to give ongoing support via chemical supply to the Laundy Group.
A simple solution enabled Marsden Brewhouse to install the system in a small room below the brewery and meet its environmental obligations.
When Sydney Water stipulated that the new Marsden Brewhouse needed to show its pH management plan, Aerofloat was able to help.
In order to be awarded full approval for the brewery’s plans to go ahead, Sydney Water required evidence of Marsden Brewhouse’s plan for managing the pH of its wastewater discharge into the sewer network.
Laundy Group approached Aerofloat to assist in the design of a pH correction system for the site as well as advise on compliance documentation for Sydney Water.
The Marsden Brewery required the pH correction system to be installed in a room below the brewery itself, which meant the system needed to be sealed and vented above the roofline.
Aerofloat’s system was designed to correct the pH of the wastewater prior to discharge, to ensure it met Sydney Water’s regulations.
Aerofloat’s compact system ensured that it was able to fit within the limited space available, whilst still allowing adequate access for maintenance and monitoring of the system.
Aerofloat’s simple solution fit the limited space available and ensured compliant effluent.
