By providing a wastewater treatment plan and showing commitment, Monte Fresco Cheese was granted the relevant licences and approvals to build its new factory and start production.

Before being granted production licences and funding agreements, the owner of Monte Fresco Cheese was required by the authorities to install an effective wastewater treatment system for the production wastewater produced by the facility.
Monte Fresco Cheese contracted Aerofloat to design, supply and commission its dissolved air flotation unit, the AeroDAF, for the treatment of its production waste.
Aerofloat supplied a model 100 system to Monte Fresco Cheese who completed the majority of the installation and procurement of auxiliary equipment – with the remote support and advice of Aerofloat engineers.
Today, Monte Fresco Cheese produces a range of cheese products and was a Gold medal winner at the Sydney Royal Easter Show for its ricotta just months after starting production.
