Specialised Chicken Services (SCS) looked to Aerofloat to design a compliant yet affordable treatment facility.
A compliant and reliable wastewater treatment solution, while limiting capital expenditure.
Aerofloat designed a plant utilising existing equipment and infrastructure to minimise capital expenditure. It also worked closely with SCS to use on site trades and skills to reduce labour costs of the project.
SCS received a wastewater treatment facility at an affordable price that ensured compliant effluent, plus an ongoing relationship with Aerofloat to assist in plant optimisation and chemical supply.
SCS was receiving pressure from the regulatory body to improve the quality of its wastewater being discharged to sewer. SCS contracted Aerofloat to design and supply a wastewater treatment solution, with installation work completed by Aerofloat and affiliated trades of the client.
Aerofloat’s patented dissolved air flotation (AeroDAF 100) unit treated the production wastewater, after being pre-screened.
Existing infrastructure was utilised to minimise the capital expense for the client. The grease trap was converted to a pump station and the existing screen was also utilised as part of the new wastewater treatment plant design.
