SCS received a wastewater treatment facility at an affordable price that ensured compliant effluent, plus an ongoing relationship with Aerofloat to assist in plant optimisation and chemical supply.
Specialised Chicken Services (SCS) looked to Aerofloat to design a compliant yet affordable treatment facility for poultry processing wastewater.
SCS was receiving pressure from the regulatory body to improve the quality of its wastewater being discharged to sewer. SCS contracted Aerofloat to design and supply a poultry processing wastewater treatment solution, with installation work completed by Aerofloat and affiliated trades of the client.
Aerofloat’s patented dissolved air flotation (AeroDAF 100) unit treated the production wastewater, after being pre-screened.
Existing infrastructure was utilised to minimise the capital expense for the client. The grease trap was converted to a pump station and the existing screen was also utilised as part of the new poultry processing wastewater treatment plant design.
