U-Sonics decided to improve the quality of its discharge water to the local environment. With the existing treatment process underperforming, U-sonics contacted Aerofloat for guidance on the best options.
Aerofloat installed three dissolved air flotation (AeroDAFs), achieving a total capacity of 36m3/h.
U-Sonics’ discharge was significantly improved, having a positive impact on the local environment.
U-Sonics’ environmental conscience led it to Aerofloat to help conserve its local ecosystems.
Aerofloat was contracted to investigate U-Sonics’ existing wastewater treatment facility which was underperforming. Following initial consultation, Aerofloat proposed an effective design to incorporate some of the existing infrastructure, combined with Aerofloat’s technology.
Aerofloat executed the project within a tight timeframe. Components were manufactured, tested and sent from both China and Australia. Aerofloat engineers worked with U-Sonics (and provided detailed instruction and drawings) to complete any required preparatory work. With the help of local staff, Aerofloat then spent three weeks on site to complete the full installation and commissioning of the system.
Aerofloat still has a strong relationship with U-Sonics, providing aftersales support and supplies.
