Beak & Johnston’s City Kitchens Case Study
CASE STUDY Aerofloat deemed ‘top of the list’ when it comes to wastewater treatment by Beak & Johnston. The Need Beak & Johnston needed a
A wastewater treatment facility to process the inky wastewater from a corrugated box processing and printing plant. The wastewater needed to be treated to a level suitable for sewer discharge.
Aerofloat installed its more conventional open-top stainless steel AeroCIRC DAF.
Aerofloat provided a compliant solution for Visy. Aerofloat added remote monitoring of the facility so its engineers can assist in the optimisation and management of the facility if required.
After successfully installing a sophisticated wastewater treatment plant for its challenging inky wastewater in New Zealand, Visy asked Aerofloat to manage its new Australian facility.
Aerofloat’s experience in treating the inky process wastewater for Visy, New Zealand and for other packaging companies meant that it was the first choice for Visy’s Melbourne wastewater treatment facility. Following the success of the Visy New Zealand plant, Aerofloat was asked to provide a proposal for a dissolved air flotation (DAF) and associated process equipment to treat the process wastewater prior to sewer discharge.
The project not only included the AeroCIRC DAF but also all associated process equipment, tanks, sludge dewatering and controls.
Visy were again happy clients with an effective solution that was delivered on time, and on budget.
