Westland Milk needed a treatment solution to manage 24m3/h of process wastewater. The design needed to cater for the possibility of future business growth.
Aerofloat fabricated and tested two stainless steel dissolved air flotation (AeroDAF 200s) in Australia and delivered to New Zealand for installation.
Aerofloat offered a product that enabled Westland Milk the flexibility to add on additional future units as the business expanded. This limited upfront capital expenditure and risk.
After installing two AeroDAF 200s at its Rolleston facility, Westlands Milk decided to add a third AeroDAF 200 some time later to manage expansion.
Aerofloat’s New Zealand distributor won a project to install two dissolved air flotation (AeroDAF 200s) for Westland Milk products in Rolleston, New Zealand. Westland needed a treatment facility to treat 24m3/hr of wastewater.
Aerofloat’s Australian engineers assisted with the design and management of the project and visited the site during the installation period.
Today Aerofloat (New Zealand) Pty Ltd is able to work directly on projects in New Zealand and has a direct relationship with Westland Milk for ongoing support.
Two AeroDAF 200 units in stainless steel were initially installed; Aerofloat later added another AeroDAF 200 unit when further capacity was required.
