Aerofloat undertook the rigorous certification process and was successfully certified by the JAS-ANZ accredited group, CPG. It has been awarded ISO 14001 – Environmental Management System, ISO 9001 – Quality Management System, and ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System. ISO certification in the three areas represents excellence in the provision of services for design, engineering, consulting, manufacturing, installation, commissioning and aftercare for wastewater and water treatment systems; highlighting Aerofloat’s unique offering as a full-service, end-to-end wastewater treatment company.
“Aerofloat is an end-to-end business and have proven that we take quality, safety and the environment seriously every step of the way. We do all our work in-house, from designing to manufacturing and installation. It also extends to our after-care products and services,” said Katie Moor, General Manager of Business Operations at Aerofloat.
“Achieving these ISO certifications demonstrates Aerofloat’s innovative and systematic approach to developing world class solutions to wastewater problems globally,” said Moor. “It confirms the quality of our work in the sector and highlights Aerofloat’s commitment to providing the highest standard of work practices to its clients and the greater industry.”
Aerofloat has a culture of continuous improvement that began when the Australian, family-owned company first put down roots over a decade ago. Its team of engineers and support staff is committed to continually improving its work practices.
“Quality and safety have always been integral to Aerofloat. A culture of improvement is part of our DNA, so acquiring ISO certification was the natural next step in Aerofloat’s journey,” said Moor.
Moor’s previous experience working internationally with reputable global companies meant that an expectation of high standards and evolving business operations was established when she co-founded Aerofloat in 2009. Leading the certification process for Aerofloat, Moor is trained as a chemical engineer as well as process improvement methodologies including six sigma and lean manufacturing. Moor’s experience and training produced a remarkable result of no non-conformances reported across all three standards.
Aerofloat’s clients have come to expect the highest quality of service and support from its team of expert engineers. Aerofloat has extensive experience treating wastewater across multiple industries, including plastics recycling, food manufacturing and industrial, plus treating sewage for mining camps and remote accommodation.
“We are incredibly proud of the Aerofloat team. Achieving this trifecta of ISO standards means our clients can be confident that Aerofloat’s products and services are of the highest quality,” said Moor.
The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), is the world’s largest developer of voluntary international standards.
