In August 2015 Aerofloat was awarded a federal government Accelerating Commercialisation Grant – an extremely competitive process managed by AusIndustry for the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research. The grant was to develop and commercialise the new Aerofloat Modular DAF.
After developing its unique and now patented DAF, Aerofloat quickly gained traction in the industrial wastewater treatment market with this novel design. However, Aerofloat was continually getting requests for larger capacity systems – hence the development of the Modular DAF which can treat up to 50m3/h.
Halfway through the 18 month AusIndustry project, Aerofloat has installed its first trail unit for a plastics recycling company – with great success. Aerofloat has also now been awarded another contract to install 2 x Aerofloat 400 Modular DAFs for NORCO dairy on the Gold Coast.
